Axis is AI-native operating software for commercial real estate: one system for work orders, vendors, compliance, and tenant communication.
Rafi Fazari
I spent five years in commercial property management before founding Axis Software. I know what the job actually looks like: chasing COI renewals, fielding the same tenant questions on repeat, and re-entering requests into a system your firm already pays for because tenants would rather call or text you directly than log into a portal.
Axis is built to give that time back. Work orders, vendor management, COI compliance, building engineering, and tenant communications live in one system, with an AI layer called Cipher handling the work that used to sit on a person's desk.
The clearest example is Cipher. Tenants never log into anything, they text. Vendors never log in either; Cipher keeps their COIs current by email automatically. Cipher understands the request, asks the follow-up questions a dispatcher would, and routes it. That is what giving time back looks like in practice: no portal to police, no requests to re-enter, no inbox to babysit.
Axis supports every role on the team, from APMs and property managers to building engineers and chief engineers. We're a veteran-owned company based in the Pacific Northwest, building for the operators who keep commercial buildings running.
Our mission
Give property management teams their time back. Axis eliminates the manual work that fills a PM's week so they can focus on tenants, assets, and the decisions that actually need a person.
Our vision
Cipher becomes the operating layer for commercial buildings. Tenants, vendors, and engineers interact with the building by text, and the work routes itself.
Our approach
Built by someone who did the job. Five years in commercial property management informs every product decision, paired with AI that understands what people mean instead of matching keywords.
The industry runs on manual work. We don't.
Property managers lose hours every week to work that generates nothing: chasing COI renewals, re-entering tenant requests that came in by phone or text, coordinating vendors across email and voicemail, and tracking maintenance across systems that do not talk to each other.
Axis is built to remove that work. AI-powered COI compliance, intelligent work order routing, vendor management, and building engineering in one platform, so a PM can handle in minutes what used to take an afternoon.
The difference is Cipher. Tenants never log into anything, they text. Vendors never log in either; Cipher keeps their COIs current by email automatically. Cipher understands the request in any phrasing, asks the follow-up questions a good dispatcher would ask, and routes it to the right place. No app, no portal, no password reset. That is not a feature bolted onto a legacy system. It is how Axis was built from the first line of code.
